Very early morning get up today ….

So, this morning The Mister went back to work after his long Winter break. That meant a very early get up …..4am. Crikey, that’s the middle of the night.
Anyway, The Mister tries not to disturb me but I am always awake. I like to know he is all sorted and he has left okay, on time etc….
It was strange last night having to make a mountain of sandwiches again, and hard boil some eggs for him to take for his snacks.
I did go back to sleep though after he went.
I’m certainly going to miss him today .

I’m sure it’s tough. You and your husband sound as close as my dad and late mom.
I can’t seem to sleep past 4am every single day, and I really don’t like that.

We are close and we love spending time together.
We have been staying up late and getting up late whilst he has been off work. Big shock to the system this morning.

I'm sure he misses spending the days with you, too. At least you had a nice long vacation together this year since you weren't working, either.
