So there was some pudding left from yesterday….i didn’t need to be asked twice if I wanted to bring it home with me. Home made apple and blackberry crumble. This was made with apples from our tree and blackberries that I had picked last summer near the caravan in Somerset. Yesturday we had cream but today I made some custard and had that with the crumble. Delicious …. Have you had a pudding today ?

I think you said ‘pudding’ means dessert. I did have hot cocoa just now which feels like dessert for me. I am not normally a dessert person unless it is my birthday, and it’s a freebie. You also make me wonder when I’ve last had an actual pudding. I can’t remember, but a nice chocolate pudding with colored sprinkles sounds mighty tasty.

Yes, pudding and dessert are the same. Love our English language. We usually only have a pudding on a Sunday ….roast dinner day. But a big crumble was made , enough for two days.

@traceyjayne No, and your reference to crumble and custard leaves me weak at the knees. When I’ve had my fill of crumble and custard whatever remains I like to have poured over me and rubbed in.

There’s nothing better than picking your own fruit. Sounds delicious. No pudding for me. I’m trying to knock off 6 pounds.

@LindaOHio I do use frozen fruits sometimes. I layer then with oats and yogurt….have that either for breakfast or a snack/pudding.
