Remote Controlling

Has this ever happened to you? It is a regular occurrence around here. My husband likes to watch TV shows that I don't care for. He relaxes in his recliner watching one of his shows and pretty soon I'll hear snoring. I look over there and he is snoring away with the remote control in his hand. If I reach over and take it he wakes up. I usually change the channel anyway because he obviously wasn't watching the program he had on. He doesn't make a fuss about it, usually just goes back to sleep.,

My husband doesn't drop the remote, but he's been known to fall asleep with a soft drink in his hand and had to mop it up.

That used to happen with my dad when my sister and I were kids!
He’d start snoring, and we’d carefully reach for the remote, but wake up as soon as we about got it. Half the time he’d come awake fully, and half the time he’d give us the remote and go to bed. It was always a toss up.

I could relate 100%.
Fortunately, I have my own room with my own tv. My tv helps me to sleep but I set the timer to 30 minutes when I'm ready to finally sleep. I don't want any noise background while I'm sleeping.
