How early/late do you call people?

Growing up, my parents had a rule never to call a person before 9am or after 9pm, as it was rude. Of course, there are always exceptions if you know the person is okay with earlier or later schedules. Maybe they work a different schedule.
Now texting, I don’t know. I don’t mind a late night text because I’ll get to it when I get to it. No one expects a return text at 3am (normally). What are your rules of etiquette on texting and calling?

No texting or calling after 9pm……unless someone texts me , then I will reply.

Nothing after 9 pm. I texted cousin #2 once at 3 am. It woke her up.

I don't like people to call me near or past 9p.m., because I'm heading to bed. Somebody did that to me recently and I had to tell her not to.

I knew that I could call Mom at 6 in the morning.

It does depend on the person but I do try to keep it at a reasonable hour. Same with texting

I have the same rules as you. I will only answer the phone if it’s after 9 from my older son. He’s so busy, that when he calls I know he’s made the time for us as it is mostly with good news that we want to hear.
I don’t answer texts from dinner on unless it’s from family.
