Woke up late this morning. I was sitting at my desk eating my oatmeal and drinking coffee when I heard something hit the front door. The door is right beside my desk. I looked out the window and no one was there. I opened the door to see if a package had been delivered. No, no package. Then I saw 2 squirrels scampering up a tree, and a Third one (Buddy) jumping off the front porch railing. I guess Buddy and his Buddies were tired of waiting on me. Thought they would knock/hit the front door to let me know THEY knew I was sitting there not feeding them. I finished my breakfast and went to the garage. But my phone rang and I had to talk to someone from my insurance company. While I am talking to the dude...Blackie came to the garage door and started meowing. So while I am talking I carried my phone and fed him. Meanwhile I have 3 squirrels already ticked off because I am late, and NOW I am feeding that obnoxious Cat before I feed them. I looked up and there were about 20 birds on the power lines giving me the eye. Geez. I finally got off the phone and finished feeding everyone. We had Philly Steak N Cheese sandwiches for supper. Tomorrow night we finish up the steak with Omelettes.

Animals are creatures of habit and want what is coming to them on schedule.

You've made a real task for yourself, feeding all those creatures. But I envy you.

These birds and squirrels are used to getting fed now and won't take any slacking!
