It's a Big Day

It's a big day today and I'm really nervous about it. So I'm working for Chris today. Which means I'm sitting on the couch doing computer work. Later will be the blanket that I'm making for her. Why is it a big day when this is a normal work day? Well, tonight is station elections for my station. Last year I came so close to getting it but there is one...or two people on my station that think that the only thing a station commander does is grab the engine on calls. It's so much more than that and it's everything that I've been doing just without the title. Fingers crossed it goes my way tonight and I finally get the title. I'm still reading Legacy by Carrie Ann Ryan. I'm still working on Chris's blanket. I am officially on skein number three for it and it's really looking good. The shop is still slow but I have faith that it will pick up soon. Hopefully I'll get a few big things out of grams tomorrow and I'll be able to keep moving things around. I added two new tumblers to the shop yesterday that I'm pretty happy with. As for yard sale items and getting things moved out, well, that's slow too. The snow and ice put a hold on all that. I'm going to add my county complex pick up again. I took it out because I never had the time, I always had to be wherever dad was when I got off work. Now I can add it back. I'm also still studying my AEMT book. I'll get a class in at some point. They're looking at grants that will help EMS put us through the class instead of all of it being put on the student. There's this video that shows you how to crochet little hearts and I want to do that for Valentine's. We'll see if it happens. I'll also be messaging the woman in charge of CASA in the county to see how we can get involved. It'll also give us a leg up when we're ready to foster. What is everyone else up to today?
