What's your favorite candle?

Today at DG I saw that their in house brand candles were on sale. Buy one and get one half off. So for six dollars I got two candles. The first one is beachside linen scented, and the other one is something poppy. When I smelled them in the store they both smelled really good and I was excited for them to smell really good at the house. But I lit the Beachside linen one a little while ago, and I don't smell anything. Kind of a bummer. What are your faovrite scents? What about your favorite candles? Do you remember when Yankee Candle was all the rage?

I don't really like candles in the house. I worry about fire which is a bit silly as I'd be super careful anyway. I'm sorry your candle doesn't have much scent.

It might also be that I don't have my whole scent of smell back from being sick.

My favorite candles are from Diptyque. Amber is my favorite scent.

@thislittlepennyearns They make room sprays and perfume now. You can look it up online. Diptyque.com French luxury company - went up in price even more due to tariffs Amazon may have them. You can also buy them in upscale department stores. Best to smell them first to make sure you like them before buying them.

You know how I love candles! Rose used to be my favorite, but then I got one with sandalwood and something else (darn it, I can’t remember what), and it became my favorite. I just reviewed a sweet peach that was really good, but also did a pumpkin spice that was disappointing.

I had a spicy vanilla wax melt that I just finished up, that I didn't like. It reminded me of pumpkin spice. Sandalwood is a great smell! I need to find more of those.

I dont like vanilla by itself. I grew up in the ninties, where vanilla was one of the most popular scents.

Bummer! I love vanilla or lavender candles, so calming and relaxing.

I’ve had my fair share of candles that claim to be scented, but once you light them, there’s barely any smell at all, like you won’t even notice it unless you stick your nose right up to it or stand really close to the candle. That’s always disappointing. My favorites so far are Bath & Body Works and Ilum candles; they actually have a strong, noticeable scent.

I love candles but I don't like buying them. I do receive them as presents from friends and family. They always give the same brand from Bath and Body Works.
