Do You Have Friends That You Don't See In Person?

My friend S is a good friend. We used to be neighbors. I've known her since 1995. She is homebound now due to lymphedema. She hasn't been out of the house in more than 5 years. I've visited her a couple of times, but we're mostly "text friends" now. She keeps weird hours, as do I sometimes, so we can text each other 24/7 without waking the other one up. She's a supportive encouraging friend, we just don't see each other in person. I should go see her this Spring. Do you have friends that you don't see in person?

My childhood best friend. We text all the time, but it’s been years since I’ve seen her. She’s got two teenagers, and both of our health is not good at all. We also live about 40 minutes away from each other. She’ll text me any time because neither one of us cares what time we contact each other.

Yes, my best friend is nine hours away so we email and text daily. I do plan to go see her the end of April if all goes well. Most my friends and acquaintances live far away.

I have a friend for 13 years and in all those years we saw each other only cone. We both live in different countries. We did plan to meet several times but we always failed too. The first meeting finally happened a year before the pandemic. Hopefully we get to see each other soon.

I have several …. A few are those I used to work with ….keep in touch by text, Birthday and Christmas cards Some are friends from school days ….keep in touch via fb Some are friends /family that live too far away to see, or live abroad ….keep in touch by fb, texts, Birthday and Christmas cards.

Yes, I have two school chums...one in MN and one in London. I haven't seen the one in MN for about 30 years; and I haven't seen the other in over 50 years.

Yup... Most of my friends moved away during the pandemic and are too far away for me to drive to see them easily. I text with them when I feel like talking... I also text with some myLotters when I can't see to talk on myLot because of the white background myLot uses.
