She is starting to walk slower and slower. I am not sure we have had a dog just die of old age. Maybe Tristan, but he had issues his whole last year. We could see that coming. It was they do that though, they all love my sister, hang in her room, except Brooklyn and Tucker. They split their time.
Well, they the only ones that spent more time in my room than hers.Meaning they hard to tell.
All other dogs stayed mostly in her room but when they felt something is wrong and always came down to say goodbye or something. Tristan could not even walk anymore.
I was asleep and his butt was hitting my stairs. He dragged himself, going not feeling well buddy, this might be it for me. Just laid his head on my chest. His head was huge too and you like that this jerk was a jerk through his life to other dogs,
Look at him now, never was a jerk to me, maybe as a puppy.
What's that Kai, you not dying yet. You just trying to get another treat. Dammit, Kai got me all emotional and soft hearted. Come on that was funny, it is how she does it too, I am old and could be dying, I am not yet but give me a treat just in case.

about 12 years she was about a year when we got her. The pound marked her as aggressive, nicest aggressive dog I have ever seen.

dogs, cats, Animals in general have traits about them
that make our lives so complicated at times it's hard to know what
they are doing or even thinking 1/2 the time, but that's what draws
us to them & when they die it tares our world apart, that's why after
all mine passed away I decided to not have anymore & now I have a
cat that as soon as I know the cold weather is over, I'm turning her
loose so she can be free & not cooped up in the cabin all the time.1 person likes this

Yeah, that is what we said, I just think the pain is worth it and you just have to put up with it, no one likes being truly alone, even me who is a true loner. That goes with as long as you are capable of taking care of them. When that time comes its great advice, just let them run free.

@2ndchances24 Cats are different than dogs but very cool none the less. Very cool how you just let it decide. All you can ask for in this world.
