Hello everyone, how are you all doing? I thought I would share another poem. Forgive me if I have shared this one before - it is hard to remember which ones I have shared since I shared some in the past and then stopped until recently. I hope you will all enjoy this one. Let me know what you think. This one is about there being a darkness, but if you don't give up you can get past it. Take The Lead -- You can’t see the truth behind closed doors contaminated corpse nobody wants anymore Darkness all around Air thickened black with smoke there is no solid ground in a life without hope You can do your best, but never really succeed A life that is lost Can’t take the lead So let go of your inhibitions Just give living a try You’ll see if you just put in some effort You can reach the other side When the darkness finds you, Laugh right in its face You can stand up for yourself, and say, “another time, another place” It may get hard at times, but eventually you will see If you don’t give up You can take the lead © Courtney Dutton
