People always don't know the value of the freedom before they lost it.They thought it's natural right when human was born in this world, anyway,it will keep like the stars on sky.
But the truth is cruel, freedom has to pay a bloody price to guard it,or it will flip away unwittingly.
Like Zahir Shah in Afghanistan,Reza Shah in Iran,Chiang Kai-shek in China, they started the Political reform that trying to build a constitutional democracy, but all failed under the revolt of the proletariats. Now these evil proletariats and their children are living in an inextricable hell.
Taliban rebuilt the slavery,Khamenei launched a massacre to the protesters,Emperor Hsi created a Neo-NorthKorea in China.People had no way to change their fate, because dictators have the guns, cannons, even the nuke bombs.
I live in China, and never will get a chance to touch the land of USA-The Freedom Jerusalem.
Maybe you think it's suck to be an American, but to most of people under the totalitarian suppress,it's an uncatchable dream to speak, move and publish freely. They are born to be slave and never will get an angel to help them out of the Sodom.
Like a deserted Lot,no matter how they follow Jesus' oracles,no miracle will happen but the endless dark and despair.
In my opinion,if i have a chance,i wish to be born in USA,even as a puppy, that's better than being a Chinese people under Communist Nazi.
How about you?Do you think it's a luck to be born in USA?

It's the best choice from the alternatives you gave.
But I am from Scotland and had it been on the list I would have chosen Scotland
Because we Scots are far luckier than Americans.
Our country is safer to live in
Our freedoms greater

@Ineeddentures is right, if you had a choice among the list he wrote, I would also go for the USA, but right now I am more than happy to live in Europe.
