I got a very strange marriage proposal

Yup, very strange. We would get married privately, not going to a Judge or the state, we would live in our own apartments, keep finances separate and get together only on some weekends.
It doesn't seem like a real marriage.
I was going to call him and to break it off when he came up with this. .
What do you think?

So why would you get married at all? There must be advantages somewhere for him to want this type of arrangement.

Doesn't sound like a marrriage to me, better wait until you are really in love with someone,
