Typhoon Basyang passes our province and our city is under signal number 2.
"TCWS No. 2
Wind threat: Gale-force winds
Warning lead time: 24 hours
Range of wind speeds: 62 to 88 km/h (Beaufort 8 to 9)
Potential impacts of winds: Minor to moderate threat to life and property."
And she's heading towards Agusan del Norte with the direction of west northwestward at 25 kph.
By afternoon she may make landfall over or pass close to Bohol and the southern part of Cebu and Negros.

That's right. Usually 20 to 22 typhoons visited us every year.

So glad you were spared. I feel that way when we escape a tornado that has come close. But then I feel badly for those who have lost so much--homes, cars, and most of all lost lives.
