I was watching a show on Animal Planet last night. It was about people who got attacked by animals and had horrible injuries. They all willed themselves to live feeling they had to for their families. Most had young children. What about you, what would give you the "will to survive?"

I would always have that will to live for what I think would be two main reasons: one, I think that God could use my situation for His glory; and two, I would want to live for the sake of my family. Plus, I'm an eternal optimist, so no matter how bad my situation may seem, I always believe things will get better.

The knowledge that my dad has suffered enough would probably give me the will to live. But, I don’t know though. Sometimes, meeting my mom in Heaven sounds really appealing.

I think it's amazing what someone's faith and will can accomplish. When my family was homeless for a year my faith got me through, and of course wanting to get through it for my children.

For me, it would be Jesus Christ who has helped me and been with me through it all so far. I feel so sad for people who hurt by animals. It would be scary leaving the house after that.
