Some people just age like fine wine.

You know how we often think that aging means loosing your looks, right? ..that you lose your youthful charm and the beauty of your youthful years fades with time..well guess what? some people defy that aging script.. I was watching a snippet of the Grammys the other day..the part where Trevor Noah announced the arrival of Beyonce..and oh boy, she was looking stunning.. Beyonce is in her 40's but her appearance is still captivating.. A commenter said ' I used to look up to Beyonce as a child and now , I'm 30 and I look older than her ".. I met a classmate at the bank a few months ago and she was looking ravishing..we are in our 40's now but her beauty and sexiness were even more profound . Sometimes, strangers challenge our perception..I was once stopped by a guy on the street..he had grey hair and looked like he was nearing 50 but man, he was super charming and handsome.. I guess some people just defy the aging stereotype and get even more stunning with time.. How are things at your end?

A woman told me that I was so beautiful yesterday in front of my husband. That made me feel so good and my husband smile. I’m an old bag who is thankful for modern medicine.

@Wrexxo It’s true, but who doesn’t appreciate a compliment every once in awhile.

My daughter and I were shopping in Walmart when I was in my 30s and ask some old guy about something down an aisle we were in. (He was wearing a Walmart uniform with a name badge.) He answered my questions and then asked how I was doing. I didn't recognize him at all. He had white hair and acted old. I told him I was fine and asked how he knew me... He told me his name and said we'd gone to school together. After we got what we needed and left the store, my daughter asked if I knew the old guy who helped us... I told her he was younger than I was and I had gone to school with him! I'm 62 and have a stripe of grey hair down the center of my head and, if I wore a beard and mustache, they'd both be pure white. But most of my hair is still dark auburn. (My avatar is made from a picture my daughter took of me in 2020 during Covid. If you look at it closely, you can tell I was wearing a mask and just pulled it down for her to take the photo.)

@Wrexxo Very true. Some of my brothers went bald young and some of us looked much the way we did in our twenties. (I had 15 brothers and sisters. We were a big family. I was next-to-the-youngest out of 16 kids.)

You have to work at it if you want to age well.

Men seem to defy aging spectacularly. They seem to grow more handsome as they age by the year.

I have aged really well. Still got my boyish charm and Bruce Willis looks I haven't had any work done on my face which looks like the face of someone 20 years younger. Oh yes, yay for me
