Dog Treat Rejections

Dodger loves treats, but she still has her standards just as all women should have.
Here are some foods she will not touch and looks at the bowl with great disdain.
Strawberries, lettuce, spinach, broccoli, nuts, beans, tortillas, tomatoes, oranges and popcorn.
I'm sure there are more but that's all I have today.
What human food does your dog dislike?

Dad always said if a person or a dog is hungry enough, it will eat whatever it's given... I don't have furbabies so don't know if that's true for pets but I know it's not true for me. If worse comes to worse, I'll take a walk out in a field and find wild foods to eat that I like better than whatever is being served to me. (Mom found that out when I refused to eat okra.)

@misunderstood_zombie As a child, my mom and dad showed me what could be eaten and how to prepare it. I won't starve as long as there are still wild places within my reach.

As a picky eater myself, I totally understand how you feel. I don't think I've ever got food from a field though. :)

You're right, she wouldn't eat this raw, but she will eat in when cooked in with other ingredients such as a casserole.

Thank you! Dodger wouldn't touch a green bean, but I don't know about oranges.
I'm so sorry for your loss, it's heartbreaking, but I guess time helps. I'm dreading it a lot.

None of those foods you lost that she doesn't like , no surprise really
We don't have a dog .
But I wouldnt give it my Strawberries, I don't share them at all

You could tell your dog to go get their own strawberries, or get a job to buy some.:)

Oh my goodness your fur baby is GORGEOUS!! My fur babies do not like potato chips. If the kids drop them, they pick them up because our doggie vacuum cleaners won't touch them.

Oooh, look at that sweetheart!!!! 
My kids weren’t too fond of vegetables, I guess especially because they could smell the chicken and knew I had something much better than broccoli to offer them.
