..still on the Grammys..I love that moment Trevor Noah welcomed Justin Bieber back to the Grammys.. Justin had some gaps but finally returned to the Grammys and Trevor threw us a curve ball by being warm and supportive..that stood out for a lot of people Instead of roasting him, Trevor highlighted his growth and journey in the music industry. That brought a positive vibe to the moment Justin had had a couple of rough years from personal struggles , to having run ins with the law, went through some highly publicized moments like having an altercation with paparazzi and so on. All these fed into the public perception about him and made him a target of joke and criticism...but Trevor Noah flipped the script by talking about his growth and achievement in the industry..Sweet On the other hand , Trevor made a joke about Trump Linking him to Greenland and Jeffery Epstein island.. Trump denied the allegation and threatened a lawsuit against Trevor..and we know Trump doesn't bluff..he is tough and doesn't make empty threats.. I just hope Trevor threads carefully..he should be cautious and be aware of any possible consequences of his jokes ..even though, jokes can make leaders accountable, it can also blur lines between comedy and serious implications. plus, he is an immigrant..any feud with a powerful force can lead to the revocation of his permit even if he meets all the conditions of the permit ..there can still be discretionary power that authorities have..and this could lead to deportation. For Trump, the president of a whole country to threaten legal action against Trevor, shows how much freedom of speech there is in the USA. If Trevor were to be in Nigeria, with all the jokes he has made about the president, he would have been picked up by DSS a long time ago
