Valentines Day Plans?

We usually aren't the ones to celebrate Valentines Day, just because we try to do a simple date night or lunch date every week. But we are actually planning on celebrating this year. We found a place in Panama City callled Ford's Garage and it is a Ford/mechanic themed grill. They have AMAZING food. We took the kids in early December and since then Chris and I have wanted to go back. So what better excuse to go than Valentines Day. We have also talked about either going to see a movie or going to do TopGolf. That kind of depends on what the weather does that day. They are predicting a lot of rain and nasty weather this weekend, and I think that might impact our chances to go to TopGolf. So that's our plans. What are yours?

I hope you guys have fun, and can go to TopGolf. If I'm not doing anything else (aka errands), I might head to the coffee shop for an iced chocolate chai (I get myself one every Valentine's Day) and then watch some NKOTB videos at home. It's self-care lol.

@thislittlepennyearns Do you have any local spots? Where I go is a small business.

@tammys85 Yeah, but there a town over. I may be able to find one there. I usually refuse to go to Starbucks unless one of the kids wants to go. The traffic there is horrendous. I could probably make one at home. Have you tried matcha?

Have fun!! We have no plans and will probably spend time at home. We have been going and coming constantly lately, so will be nice to just stay at home!

Valentine's Day wasn't a 'thing' when we were growing up and it's remained a 'non-thing' for us. We have no issues with others celebrating. In fact, it's a great thing apart from the commercialisation.

@thislittlepennyearns Good for you. It's so important that they know they are loved not matter what.

We do small baskets for the kids too. But we do stuff for the kids for every holiday. I want to make sure they know they are loved. Even when they are driving us crazy lol
