New in the Guthrie Kidnapping case

@AmbiePam posted earlier regarding the kidnapping of Savannah Guthrie's mother. I haven't been watching a lot of the coverage on it. However since reading Amber's post earlier, I did do a little digging a few minutes ago and saw a bunch of posts on TMZ. Now I know a lot of people don't see TMZ as a real news source, but they are and can be. They have been covering this case a lot. What struck me as interesting is that TMZ got sent a ransom note earlier today as well as two other news sources. The investigators think the ransom notes of course came from the kidnappers. There has also been money moved in the ransom account. So.... ...why hasn't the kidnapper, or kidnappers been found? And what exactly is the motive?
