We just got back from the store about an hour ago and I was finally able to sit down. We picked up some more lights, new oil for the infuser we bought last month and I have been having fun trying to explain to George the difference between daytime outdoor shoes and house slippers. As I mentioned in my good morning post, I've been wearing indoor shoes. I used to go barefoot all the time. And, I still perfer that. But I drop ice, George sometimes pees on the floor, and we have an all tiled floor house. When I lived in apartments, we had a mix of carepet and fake tiles. Before George's stroke, the all tile house was fine, but now it's well not. so I started wearing house slippers for the last couple of months. And I learned never from Temu. they started falling apart only after a few months. I had to get slippers that are a bit big, but I can walk ( or limp) around the house and still be safe. I can get them on and off and the soles have some grip.

I think that I will be giving Temu a miss Heard more bad about them than good, and won't gamble with our money

@Ineeddentures Don't get me wrong, some prices are decent. But the so-called free offers aren't worth it.

@kaylachan That's true And if something looks to good to be true it's maybe best left alone

I'm glad you found some slippers. I always wear flip flops. Unfortunately that meant that my shoe size increased quite a bit as my feet spread out.

My shoe size hasn't changed much. My foot on the right is kind of broken, so it's expanded upwards and sideways.

We used to have carpet. They did tile downstairs and vinyl upstairs. I sure like it. I wear house socks with the grips on the bottom. I sure like them.

I've been sent home a few times from the hospital with socks that have grips on them. I like those.

I can't use those. It's not a solid smooth grip, and that's what I need. I need to feel the floor due to being blind. And, I can't feel the floor the way I need when the grips are split.

I found that Temu sells mostly junk. Poor George.

Oh yeah, I know. It's hit-or-miss. But who knew. Oh well what I have here should be better.

Tile floors are the worst for elderly people cause when they fall it never fails they always break something, & that leads to other stuff down the road, I wouldn't have a tile floor if someone paid for it.
