the Betel plantations are amazing

February 12, 2026 8:34pm CST
Betel leaves are eaten at the end of food in bengal. The Betel leaf plantations called pan boroj are amazing. They are covered from the top because they cannot tolerate heavy sunshine. They grow from top and bulge down. Hazetnuts, lime, pan masala are given along with pan. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/4zxiySyU_p4

We see many pan plantations in our part of Bengal . Mostly jute sticks are used to make the shade, which at the same time must allow some sunshine.
