I mentioned I was interested in becoming an herbalist So I started with two free online courses. The one I am taking now is the Four Keys of Herbal Education. It really is very thorough and interesting. You can also ask questions which I assume will be a great help. I really am very interested in this, and if I can make monetize this at some point so much the better!

I have been interested in it for quite awhile. I have a big book of herbs and their uses here..but I decided to look at it a bit more in depth.

@BelleStarr Sometimes I think Western Medicine is kind of like trying to kill a mosquito with a bazooka. Unless it is truly a serious illness that needs all that firepower, a lot of things I think could be managed successfully without it.

@snowy22315 Yes I have bought a few as well, I would rather try to not use as many pharmaceuticals.

It might, If I persist. I tend to get enthused about things and when they don't work out as well as planned, I get discouraged and quit..although if I worked at it a bit harder and longer it might help quite a bit.

@snowy22315 I want to do some volunteer work but I need to find something I know I'll stick with. I sometimes get carried away with ideas then go cold on them.

Yes..not in place of necessarily just as an adjunct, or some people don't really believe in taking medicine, or haven't found it works well for them..maybe too harsh.

My late grandparents were herbalists. I remember when I was still small, they gathered herbs in our nearby coconut and banana forest. When they came home they packed there collected herbs in banana leaves. I was mostly the one who received those herbal treatments as I was a sickly child. My mother was taught by them how to collect, preserve and use the herbs. How I wish I was interested in what they were doing before. I hope you will learn a lot.
