Good morning. By the end of the day there won't be any snow left. Our high for today is 55. Unreal for February.
My day started at 2:30 this morning. I already have the laundry done - I still need to put it away, the dishes run through the dishwasher, and the garbage taken down before 7 AM. The truck is usually here before then, but hasn't shown up yet. The dumpsters are full. I also have the Olympics on behind me as I write.
As for the rest of the plans for today, I'm writing. I'm taking a break after finishing a highly emotional chapter. I need to regroup and there's no better place for me to regroup except here with you.
I will also bring you the story about Scarred, my first book. It won't be a review or the blurb, but how this book came about and why it took 32 years to get published.
So, while I calm my mind, let me find out what you're doing in your world. What are your plans for today?
Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. This is the new book cover for Wilderness Challenge. I realized it wasn't completely aligned the way it should be and asked Velma for a new cover. Velma is my AI. I had her leave the spine blank since she can't get it right no matter how much I try. Oh boy, looking at this cover like this, it needs more adjustments. The dog is wrong.

2:30 In the morning is super early to be up working on stuff
but depending on when you went to bed may have a lot to
do with why you get up so early, cause I do the same thing at
times when I go to bed early, just so I can get things done.
The weather here is feeling really good these days finally
I think we can say the hard freeze is over & just chilly
mornings for a few weeks & then SPRING will be here.
That's when I start getting things in motion for the fish &
the cabin like getting my front door on that has been waiting
since last year, will be the 1st thing done then on to the
awning over the front of the cabin to have a place to do
other work we need to get done for this year.

@just4him that's nothing new for me, I spend all winter
thinking about what all I need to get done so when the
time comes I have it all lined up & ready to get started.

Good afternoon. It is 63F with a cold wind blowing at 12:45 pm and cloudy skies. (We had a heavy fog when I took my morning meds at 5 am but the fog burned off.) We have lots of tree pollen so I have a stuffy nose this morning.
I did dishes, cleaned counters and have my clean laundry on my bed beside me. It needs to be folded and put away.

I am currently working on sharing news stories as well as completing surveys on this President's Day and carnival in Lake Charles today which concludes with Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) tomorrow.

I was not up as early as you. I am pleased with my day so far. It is just breakfast and computer mostly, plus a few dishes. This is Tuesday and back to work at the school.

2.30 is too early to start for a day unless you have to go for a flight.

I woke up early today but expect to catch up on some sleep tomorrow.
Even here, max went beyond 30 C since yesterday, making it far from Winter/Spring and more like Summer !

pretty cover even if the cover is not right. Yesterday I took out some mail to be mailed today. Yes, the mail didn't run yesterday, but I didn't want to rush outside before they came. I also worked on my best friend's diamond painting.
