A video of Burl Jam I didn't know existed! / myLot

We did a gig down in LA a year or two ago. I knew we were being recorded, but I never knew Mike had posted some of our tunes to YouTube. At least I think it's YouTube. This should be a Jimmy Buffett tune, A Pirate Looks at 40. Mike sings lead, and I sing harmony in some parts of the song. A bittersweet part of watching this video (for me) is remembering how Rod (the bass player) and I always "kept in touch" as we played. He's the one who left us this past November. Mike, the lead singer, lives in New Orleans now (he's a doting Grandpa), but we talk often. Feel free to like, comment, start a Go Fund Yourself page, and share with everyone you know.

Jimmy Buffett was a good songwriter.This one is a bit sad. But it's also just a bit of "looking out over the ocean" (or Gulf) fantasy.
