Do you leash your toddlers?

I'm gonna have to answer this from an Aunt's POV. But in a crowded area, yes. I'd rather use the leash than to have something happen to them. I wanna say also near a lot of traffic, but I'd probably pick them up to be safe.

We never needed to leash ours. I guess we didn't go to places where it might have been necessary and they never wandered far from us anyway.

Now, THIS is a discussion. You know I watch Ridiculousness, and you may or not remember Steelo’s abject hatred for people putting their children on leashes. And I get that. But what if you have a runner? If you have a stealthy kid who has behavior problems, and nothing has worked, you need to know when they get away from you. That’s a sure fire way to know they’ve been kidnapped. If that leash is suddenly slack, you know your kid is gone. Would I do it? I don’t see that being an option for myself. People have gone thousands of years without leashing their children and children have stayed safe. But, like you said, if it’s a crowded place, and I think if you have a runner… I’d be too embarrassed to do it, and I wouldn’t think it would be necessary for the majority of parents and children.
