Lyre Harp vs guitar

I went to try out how to play the lyre harp, It is a cute instrument, very portable, but as the strings are like on an acoustic guitar, made of metal, it hurt my right thumb to play it. So I will stick with the guitar. I can play the guitar in different keys easily and if my right hand hurts to pluck the strings I can use a pick.
What instruments are you thinking of playing now?

I wonder if that's what we call an autoharp. That can make your fingers very sensitive too.

An autoharp is an instrument that you can play chords on by pressing a button.
