What's for din? Feb. 26. 2026

He child is at a friends night, so it was just four of us instead of five for dinner. So I pulled two big ole steaks out and a pork chop. I ate a pork chop and everyone else had steak. I made stroganoff, biscuits and green beans to go with it, and also mac'n'cheese for she child because she doesn't eat stroganoff and doesn't like the biscuits that we have currently. So that's what was for dinner tonight. What did you have?

That looks really good. I would have opted for the pork chop too. I had spinach pizza again.

Are those biscuits in the foreground? They're not a thing here - not with a main meal. Our scones are very similar but usually topped with butter and jam/cream/cheese/Vegemite/etc.

Yeah they are frozen biscuits. I was raised by grandparents who were strong beleivers in bread with every meal, so it's a good chance that all meals I make include some type of biscuit.
