I'm not talking about words in general, I am talking more about how people say them. Although I do have one word, that I don't like hearing no matter how it is said. That word is classifed. Because I don't even like reading it. Anyway, there is a word that I hear mis-said a lot down here. It drives me super crazy every time I hear it. That word is "axe" but what they are saying is ask. Like "Hey I wanna axe you a question." Sooooo annoying. Anywya, what words that get mis-said bug you?

We get the 'axe' one here too and it's really annoying. I also cringe every time I hear 'would of', 'should of,' instead of would have', 'should have'. My own son does it but as he's 52, I don't really feel like correcting him.

I’m familiar with the ask/axe problem. Growing up, I heard it a lot. I guess mine would be when people say subbosedly instead of supposedly.
