What an Off Week….

….And it’s only Wednesday. This has been an off-week for various reasons. For starters, one of our senior cats -Piper- needed to be put down on Monday. She’s been sick and going through treatments/appointments for a while now. Things took a turn for the worse, and my niece made the call (she was the primary caregiver). It’s not a decision that was taken lightly, that’s for sure. But it was the best decision for her. When I went into my niece’s room to see her other two cats last night, it hit me that Piper is gone. I’m used to all three of them coming up to me. I miss her already. :( She was a sweetheart and would literally tap you to get your attention before sharing her opinion, lol. We all loved her very much. Yesterday was my routine physical. It actually went well, but it took longer than I had hoped it would. Add in the fact that I didn’t sleep well Sunday or Monday night, and I didn’t really accomplish much of what was on my to-do list. *Sigh* On top of losing Piper and not sleeping well, I’m dealing with cramps, fatigue, etc. So, that’s been fun. I did sleep a little more last night, so I’m at the coffee shop today, forcing myself to complete at least one writing order. I have very little motivation, so I guess I’ll “fake it ‘til I make it.” Tonight is Trivia Night, and then I might lie down early. I have regrets about my productivity, but if I dwell, I’ll drive myself crazy. I’m just going to try to move forward and not beat myself up too much. Anyway, I’m going to go get started on this order. You all have a good day. Stay safe and take care.
