I made bottlegourd and chana dal( black gram lentils) Sabji today morning for lunch. I am going to relish it with hot rice, ghee and bharwa karela ( bittergourd). I had made bharwa karela last night and have enough to go for few meals. I love bottlegourd, it is healthy, light, yummy and so refreshing . Your meal sounds yummy and healthy.

thanks Arunimaji your dish is very delicious. Karela adds huge amount of taste and nutrition. It is in fact one of the ingredients of many medicines. My mother makes moong dal with bottlegourd

@sathviksouvik I love Karela, especially the stuffed ones. It's a great blood purifier and is a knowm medicinal one for diabetes.
