Another Disappointing Doctor Appointment Story

Several myLotters including @AmbiePam and @DaddyEvil have had trouble with scheduling their doctors appointments lately and their doctors not showing up for the appointments. Hubby needs an annual physical. Simple, right? He's put it off for two years. Our regular doctor we've had for 20 years is semi-retired now after her husband died from Leukemia and she's been hard to get an appointment with. But hubby didn't want the physical until August, 6 months from now, so he thought it wouldn't be a problem to get an appointment that far in advance. Wrong! He could not get in to see his primary care physician any date in August. So now he's called the health care provider that I switched to six months ago, she's a Nurse Practitioner, and her schedule was wide open so he got the date and time he wanted.
