Pigeons don't like him!

Our Italian lodger seems to inspire heinous acts by the local pigeons, for some unknown reason. He’s quite a fastidious sort of person so maybe they just delight in winding him up, who knows.
Anyway one day I was driving him and his wife, myself and our two girls to see a Japanese film, which was only showing in a few select cinemas one of which was in the next town. When we arrived, I parked in a convenient space in the multi-story car park, but once we got out he noticed the car was positioned under the edge of the roof and so he objected, on the grounds that a bird was likely to perch there and poo on it. I told him not to be silly – then as we walked away a pigeon pooped on his shoulder!
Not long after this and he was walking down our road one day on the way to the bus stop, and a bird pooped on his head.
And then a few days ago my partner was giving him a lift somewhere, and that was when a pigeon pooped on the car!
This is getting to seem more than just a coincidence now. None of us have ever been pooped on, and even the car rarely gets anything on it even though it’s parked under a tree! We’re convinced the pigeons have got it in for him.
He is a man who loves his food though, so I’m keeping a lookout for pigeons for sale every time I pass a butcher’s. I have a plan to make him a pigeon pie

@fleura Peristeronic leavings are particularly odious - I do feel for the fastidious Italian gentleman. I was dumped on in Manchester last year and had to throw away my coat because I hadn’t noticed at the time and it really was minging by the time I discovered what had happened. Awful smell.

It's supposed to be good luck; but I don't believe that. My hubby got pooped on by a bald eagle.

@Fleura Yes. It happened when we took a vacation on the west coast (Mexico, California, Washington, Oregon and Vancouver in Canada.)

Probably 1998 last time we ate pigeon
Up north on a game farm
The pigeons were massive and tasty
I don't think we had peas with it
But I shall remember that for next time
