Yesterday, I had a refresher course on the fact that there are still good parents and good children in this world.
I had come out of Grocery Outlet, put groceries in my van, turned and the calve of my left leg tightened up. I was scared to put much weight on it, so I kind of drug my leg as I walked closer to my van. As I got to my van, a pain went through my leg. I cried out. A young boy came running towards me asking if I needed help. I was at my door by then and told him No, I think I will be okay. But how sweet was that?
I saw a man in a pickup truck who watched the whole deal and never offered to help, but this little boy did. I put a Thumb's UP
to his Mom. She raised a good Son.
There wasn't anything he could have done, but dial 911, but how SWEET that he wanted to help me.

Restores ones faith in human nature when someone offers to help like that, especially when it is a younger person.
