Where Should I Travel to This Fall?

It's official, my friend cancelled our Japan trip and I couldn't fenagle a way to keep the trip by myself and the ship was sold out of other cabins. I looked at a trip to Cairo for a week including seeing the pyramids, etc. but friend said that was a bad idea. I thought about Sicily and Malta but it was more than I wanted to spend and longer than I wanted. So now I'm thinking about a land tour to Japan. Maybe. Where do you suggest I go? It needs to be somewhere I haven't been before and I've been to over 100 countries, so pick something unique for me.

How much of the US have you seen? I wouldn't want to go overseas. I've driven to and through a lot of the US states but there are still places I'd like to see if I was still able to do all the driving involved. (I don't go far from home now because my eyes might swell up so I can't see to get home again. I don't like to fly.)

Wow! 100 countries is lot. Japan I would say or a neighbouring country to Japan. Like South Korea.
