Football was cancelled ….the pitch was flooded !

So this weekend we should have had the Grandkids but Granddaughter has a dance competition coming up and was going for extra rehearsals so her Mom took her o her way to work. Grandson was out last night ice skating with his friends but he was coming after that.
Then we had a phone call, he’s not back but he has had an asthma attack and he hasn’t got his inhaler ! ( I always make sure he has it when he is out with us, and I always carry a spare in my bag ! )
Anyway…..another phone call nearly two hours later to say he was home, still chesty so staying at home.
Fair enough….we could pick him up easy enough in the morning.
This morning we had a phone call to say football was cancelled as the pitch was flooded.

I hope your grandson is doing okay this morning. I hate it when I can't breathe. (I usually have to use an epi-pen and that makes me sleepy for the rest of the day.)

We rang and asked if he wanted to go out and he said no, still chesty.
We text to see if he wanted food taking round as a treat …..he said no thank you ……so he is definitely poorly !

@Traceyjayne Yeah, I can imagine. I never wanted anything except to be left alone after I had a problem like that.

I’m guessing that being out with his friends he got too excited and spent a lot of time rushing around. He never thinks to take his inhaler…..unfortunately he doesn’t get reminded at home !
