Good morning,Dear Ones.
Been up a few hours now, had some Cinnamon Toast Crunch for breakfast, and did some art.
Also watched a pretty cool movie from 2024 about a woman who helps a family after a tragedy (the loss of the mother) and some medical issues affecting the daughter (who was five years old.)
Kindness like that needs to be more common practice in life, and the movie reminds watchers of that.
On another note, we had an electric bill of over $100 this past month. I'm not going to whine about it though, because there is another Mylotter who had a much worse one ($400) which still blows my mind.

I am on Budget Billing and it is $83 every month. That way it avoids the really big bills. I'm sorry your bill was over $100.

Well much as it's frustrating, we can manage it.

@jnrdutton With some companies you can request to be billed the same amount each month. It usually prevents you from getting a huge bill. For example, I get billed $83 a month...let's say I only use $50 worth of electricity in the winter. When summer comes I will have a cushion built up of extra money paid into the "pot". My summer bills won't be as much.

In my ENTIRE adult life I only had that happen once,when my stove was left on overnight.

I hope that you enjoyed the Cinnamon Toast!
The movie sounds cool.
I do not have much of a liking for such emotional movies but I do admire if such a movie is well made.
$100 is a big enough Bill.
May be you had to use more Heating during very cold days.
Our electricity bill swells up during extreme summers when our ACs are running almost the whole day.

That does stink about the bill, although it is only up a bit from last month, next month it should start going down again.
