Good Morning Everyone!

It's Tuesday but it's my Monday. I'm down here at Chris's with her grandmother and it's chilly and windy. With that being said, I got a hot coffee from the Daily Grind today instead of an iced one. There is just a chill that won't go away right now. There's rain coming in and the wind picked up a bit. Hubby got a job!!! He starts on Monday and I am beyond ecstatic. We'll have a routine and insurance again. Plus it won't take us long to get back on track. This is a great thing. He's still talking about me staying home with the animals and the shop. Which is great but right now I can't see it. It's definitely something to work towards. He really wants me to be able to stay at home and take shifts at EMS when I can. A great dream. As for the shop we're gearing up for St Patrick's Day, Spring time and Easter. I'm even starting the Fourth of July because it's a big one. I have stickers that I want to do and temporary tattoos. That'll be a great addition to the shop. I'm still crocheting and starting to bead. I even did melt and pour soap in cranberry. I finally finished the two baskets for auctions. I'm just waiting for business cards now to pair with them. I'm really excited about this and helping these entities. We've taken a small break from cleaning up grams. We've made a ton of progress but there's still so much more to be done. We thought we were going to get the chair moved yesterday but we didn't so it put a damper on all my plans. On the flip side of that my mother actually fell through the back porch yesterday. Yeah, we were getting another estimate for a rebuild because I mean the porch is horribly rotted and already has holes in it. The spot she was standing on gave out and her leg went through. It definitely could have been worse than what it was but it gave all of us quite a scare. She's okay, scraped up pretty good and hurting but it could have been worse. I'm reading the new ARC from Carrie Ann Ryan, One Quick Obsession. I'm loving it so far as usual lol. I also have a Christina Lauren novel started as well. I started that before I got the ARC. The thin red line blanket is close to being done. I may finish it this weekend. Depends on what we have planned. I'm really hoping to be able to start moving books soon. I guess for the most part things are starting to look up. No reason to really complain here. It's definitely a switch here. We're still missing Gram and Daddy but we're taking it one step at a time. We're just going What are you up to today?

Well, technically I'm answering back in the morning it's just the next morning lol. Yes, it's a huge weight off of us that he has one now. We're just prioritizing a few things until he gets steady paycheck.

@Ineeddentures I wish. We are actually at the poverty mark where we live yet we still can't get help. it's the stupidest thing I've heard and the woman I talked to about food stamps tried pulling all the strings and looked for all the loopholes.

@JordanLader Aye. Now here in the UK people don't worry about not having a job See if you rent a property Have 3 or 4 kids Universal credit, a welfare benefit , looks after you and you get more money and your housing costs paid for than hard working people get

I'm glad to hear about your hubby's job! I'm sorry to hear about your mother's accident. I hope she isn't hurt too badly. I'm getting my hair cut today. Nothing else planned.

@JordanLader My hair was getting too difficult to wash and rinse. I have very thick hair. I'm glad your mother is better.

@JordanLader Nutrafol is very expensive. I wish I could remember what it is that you need for thicker hair. There are a lot of tips online.

Thats wonderful to hear that your hubby got a job. I'm sure it's a big relief for you. Wow that's pretty scary hearing your mom fell through the deck. So glad she didn't get seriously hurt. Things sound like they're picking up for you. Good things you're adding to your shop and hoping you post a pic of the red line blanket you're making. Nothing going on here today. We have an icy mix falling which is just dreary and miserable. Definitely not going anywhere but will just enjoy a quiet day inside.

I can't wait to be able to share the thin red line blanket. I still need to figure out how to add the stars to it but I'll jump that bridge when I get to it. I'm very thankful it wasn't as bad for my mom as it could have been. I did clay earrings too, I just need to bake them and get them completed. I'm getting there lol.
