Hey everyone, how are you all doing? I don't know in what part of the world the blood moon could be seen tonight (3/3/26) but I know that I saw it. It was huge and orange. Maybe it was a bit more golden. It was not red like the name suggests....but it was a sight to see. It was orange/red because of a total lunar eclipse. The last one was back in September of 2025. There won't be another one until December of 2028. That will be quite a while for that one. Did you see it? What did you think of it if you did see it? Image is not mine - it is from pixabay.

No worries...I only caught it because it was out while I was driving home. Sunsets are just as nice to see. But yes...2 + years till the next? lol

I didn’t try to see it. I bet it was quite something though.

I didn't try to see it, but it happened to be out when I was driving home.

I happened to be up at 6am, the time of the eclipse. Usually when these types of things happen with the moon we have cloudy skies and I don't see anything. This time I saw a bit of the eclips but the location of the moon had it tangled in a bunch of tree branches so I didn't see much. Not worth staying up for anyway. Didn't see any moon of a different colour.

By the time I looked at the moon the eclipse was over.
