Not my President.

I bought 500 litres of heating oil on 7th January for £299. The cost for 500 litres on 3rd March rose to £485, and to £565 on 4th March. The value of my investments went in the opposite direction. Thank you so much Mr President. And he’s not even my president.

I notice his few defenders on Mylot have become a lot more quiet lately.

I''ve noticed this too. I hope they're switching their allegiance but maybe that's too much to hope for.

People are queueing at our bowsers too in the expectation of higher fuel prices. Not many buy heating oil. No-one that I know of.

His influence and bad decisions are affecting the whole world.

Yes indeed. The next blow of course will be the energy companies saying that they cannot honour the energy cap or fixed rate deals. My pal up in Newtonmore was telling me this morning about the price of heating oil - I had thought I had heard on the News that price increases would take some time to be passed on to the consumer Didn't think some time meant 2 days
