Farm work: Plenty of Rains

Eldoret, Kenya

I am grateful the rains came early this year. It is the first planting season of the year here in Kenya. Usually, we have two. We however prefer this first one since its rain is more reliable. My passion fruits that flowered last year already have some fruits. There are some that are still flowering. I hope the rains do not interfere with the flowering. I prepared land for planting some maize and beans. I will also plant a couple of tree seedlings. When done with heavy farmwork, I will consider finishing a coop for the birds. There is plenty of farmwork here!
