Closing the kitchen!

I just got done doing the few dishes that had piled up throughout the day. There were I think four bowls, four cups, a couple knives and the insert to my Ninja Foodi. That is what took up the most time and space, the insert.
It only took about twenty minutes. It needed to be done, or I would have to do it in the morning and if you haven't noticed I am much more an evening person than a morning person.
While I do dishes, I generally have either the TV on, my phone playing something or like tonight- have a video playing on my laptop. Tonight it was Mythical Kitchen. That got me thinking.... Do you have something playing when you do dishes or are you psycho that does chores in silence?

Thats how I am with Scrubs now. Lol; because I've seen the whole show at least twice, so I let it play in the background

When I do house chores I typically have something playing in the background. I've tried the silent thing (and if I'm in and out of the house, I will stay silent), but for the most part it's boring.

@thislittlepennyearns I do too, but if I have to go out of bluetooth range and don't feel like taking my work phone with me, I'll get disconnected.

I sometimes have my earbuds in and will listen to a podcase, a book on tape or something like that.

Lately, I'll throw on headphones and listen to Tim Curry's audiobook. Chores are the only time I can really listen to it because I just zone in. It'll distract me from my work, hobbies would distract me from the book, and I don't wanna fall asleep and miss anything.
