What's for breakfast? March 7th, 2026

Good morning! I guess technically there is still thirty seven minutes left in this morning. So it counts. Last night I told she child I would make pancakes for breakfast. She wanted chocolate chip, but I didn't have the right stuff. So I made blueberry pancakes instead. Which is fine by me, because the last time I made panckaes it was chocolate chip. I usually make eggs and bacon to go with them, but didn't feel like messing with making scrambled eggs this morning- so I just made bacon to go with the pancakes. That's what was for breakfast this morning. What did you have?

I actually HAD breakfast this morning (well, afternoon). Oatmeal, hash browns, and apples & toast!

Yeah we generally don't eat breakfast either. But I felt better last night and today and really wanted to make it. What's for lunch today? Taco salad?

@FourWalls That will end up being the same for us. I have no idea what we are going to do for dinner yet either. There is plenty of pulled pork from last night left in the fridge.

A strawberry Pop-Tart, only it was the Walmart brand. It was one of those "I want to eat quickly and get out of the house" moments. I want some turkey bacon. That needs to go on my shopping list at some point.

@thislittlepennyearns I agree, and they're cheaper! I do love the Raspberry Pop-Tarts; it tastes like a jelly donut lol. But out of the others, including the off-brand, cherry is my go-to. Oh, and I love that the off-brand labels the packets. We buy multiples and can take those out of the box because we're not playing guessing games lol. I don't know why Pop-Tarts doesn't do that, but those tend to stay in a box in the cabinet so we don't mix them up.

I like the offbrand poptarts almost more than the name brand ones, they seem to have more flavor to me

I like blueberry pancakes better than chocolate chip. Yum! I had a square of Asiago cheese. Well, and all those Alani drinks.

I dont mind chocolate chip, but with a chocolate protein shake it might of been too sweet. lol
