Do you like sardines?

It's an old debate. One that I'm sure at some point each and every person has at least discussed if not argued about.
I have always liked sardines, and anchovies actually. When I lived and worked in Pensacola I would get Papa John's pizza often and one of my favorite ones to order was achovies, bacon and extra cheese with just a garlic butter sauce instead of pizza sauce.
I got a can of sardines while we were at Dollar Tree today because I have been craving them and they are a good clean source of protein. I am trying to work more protein in my diet. That got me thinking about other people and what they thought about sardines.
So beautiful people of myLot land what is your take on sardines?

I absolutely love Sardines Tomato Sauce variety
On Toast.
With butter.
Not so keen on anchovies, I think I got out off them as a young kid but can't really remember.
They are amgood and relatively cheap way of us getting extra protein.

Sardines are really good, and they taste about the same as anchovies.

Anchovies are different, mind you I have only had sardines in tomato sauce

I like sardines. I don't mind anchovies but Vince loves them.

@JudyEv That is how I prefer them as well, which is funny because when it comes to tuna I prefer it in water

I had never eaten them before last year, but then several people on Mylot convinced me to try them. So, I went to Walmart and got some. Much to my relief, I liked them just fine. I didn’t buy them again, but if presented with an opportunity, I’d eat them again.
