From toddler until about age 16-18 it was vinyl records. I enjoyed laying them out on the floor and looking at the album covers and reading the liner notes.
Around 16-18 came 8-track tapes, but they were short-lived.
Then in my 20's-30's it was cassette tapes.
Fast forward to my 40's and 50's and it was CD's.
Now it's all streaming.
So I've had the whole evolution.
Which did you grow up with? What is good and bad about each?

Oh, I had 78s and 45s and 33s growing up. My first car had an 8-track player. Now I primarily use YouTube Music in the car and the iPod for exercising.

Vinyl records when I was young, then progressed to other things.
