Same tired old fodder.

I rarely order takeaway food because it’s never very nice, but I relented this evening because we’re going away tomorrow and I am just too busy to cook. It was a disaster. I ordered a selection of items from an Indian takeaway, and was quickly disheartened because it arrived very swiftly, indicating that it had been already cooked earlier today and was stuck in the microwave when I placed my order. Not freshly prepared and cooked. Dry and leathery. Tired rice. Exhausted lamb. Thin sauces. Cardboard naan. No aroma. But I can’t really say that I’m disappointed because I knew that this is how it would be.

Yes indeed We must use the same takeaway We order the Set meal C on the menu and it will be delivered 25 minutes after placing the order. The lack of Aroma is because of lack of proper layers of spicing because as you say it was cooked earlier, and probably not even on the premises. From now on if we want an Indian Meal, we will travel 15 miles to Forfar. And sit down in Tandooriwallah, old fashioned but authentic and everything cooked on the premises

@ineeddentures If I don’t get a half decent Indian in Manchester tomorrow night I’ll be dismayed. Had an awful one in Edinburgh last month - very watery and insipid.
