It's Wednesday morning everyone and we've made it about half way through the week. That should be cause to celebrate right there. We had our rescue meeting last night. It went well, we have quite a bit for the auction and we let everyone know that we'll be up there after training that Saturday. It's only a couple hour training so we shouldn't have an issue. Today I work for Chris. So I'll be heading down there around 8. I talked to her grandmother yesterday to see how she was. She had a choking scare on Monday and she was like I don't know how I did it but I did. I think Chris was more scared than she was. I didn't work on books yesterday so we'll be doing that today when we both get off work. Things are coming along well and I still can't believe it. I look over at the books and I have empty spots in the shelves and I almost have an empty closet again. I go up and look around the house and I feel so much pride there. I really hope that they're looking down and they're proud of me. Of what we're doing and making here now. We're watching NFL Insiders in the mornings now before hubby leaves for work that leads into Free Agent Frenzy when I get to Chris's. At least for a little while. I worked on Chris's blanket for a little bit yesterday and grandmom is so fascinated by it. She saw the one I'm working on for hubby and she was impressed. "It's really big" were her words lol. I have clay earring ready to get baked as soon as I set the toaster oven up at grams. We discussed leaving it there because I do car freshies too and they tend to stick up the house. So it's staying up there lol. We have a friend now that is starting his own side hustle with a laser engraver. I wish him the best but it seems he is putting things up before actually learning how to use the machine. If I've learned everything you need to learn the craft you're doing before trying to sell it. That's one reason why I haven't even attempted to sell anything I crochet. I hope he does well though. I share his items and answer whatever questions that he has if I can answer them. We have a guy that's going to do our back porch for us. For 10K he's going to fix our back porch, put a roof on it, fix the railing in the front, pressure wash grams and seal that one. It's really great and I'm thinking he's good. Now if I can just find someone for the floors we'd have most major repairs done. I'm still pushing the shop. I'll be making my own walk way to it and I'm really excited about it. I'm also still posting online the new items made and we still have some regular inventory that people can get. The yard sale items are slowly going. It's going to get better now that the weather is changing. It seems when the weather gets warmer, people want to buy more. The weekends are going to be harder for me to find time for a yard sale though but we're going to try. I'm very close to finishing One Quick Obsession by Carrie Ann Ryan. It's an awesome book and I'm hoping to finish either tonight or tomorrow. I still have a DC puzzle on the floor and that's probably why I've avoided it. It's on the floor. The new puzzle board that I'm looking at is a stand up one and I can put a small treadmill under it. It'll happen it's just going to take time. I don't want to sell this board until I get the new one. We're prepping for a tank upgrade. We're going to go from a five gallon fish tank to a 20. It's the smallest one that has a decent stand really. I'm excited though. Things are going well. Maybe not according to plan, we've had to change the plans every now and then lol but they're going. What is everyone else up to today? The weather is getting so nice it's almost a crime to stay inside now.
