Do you celebrate St. Patrick's Day?

In the grand scheme of holidays, the one involving leprechauns might be the only one mainly celebrated by two groups of people: kids… and adults who are a few drinks in.
That said, there are still plenty of people who celebrate it in other ways. Sure, a lot of folks mark the day by raising a glass, but I’ve also seen some pretty fun alternatives that don’t revolve entirely around drinking.
Personally, I’ve always thought it would be fun to go to a real Irish festival or something similar. Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure we’re in the wrong part of the world for a truly “proper” St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
When I was a teenager, there was a huge Irish bar near where I grew up, and they went all out every year. I’m talking dancing, music, plenty of drinks, and even some bits of Irish history mixed in. It was such a good time. Of course, that was years ago… and on the complete opposite side of the country from where I am now.
So after all that rambling, I guess what I’m really curious about is this:
Do any of you lovely people here on myLot celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? And if you do, what does your celebration look like?

When I was younger and attending grade school, my relatives and myself would celebrate St. Patrick's Day. These days, nor anymore.

I celebrate St. Patrick's Day but not in the ways many people do it. I began to love St. Patrick in my high school days. I celebrate this day in recalling St. Patrick's life, thanking God for giving us this holy man, emulating some of his good qualities, and of course praying for my brothers and sisters in Ireland.

I would not think that St Patrick is a high holiday or even a popular one in India.

I think that's pretty much how everyone celebrates it in America. Unless they are getting drunk. But then again Americans will use literally anything as an excuse to get drunk.

In my teen/early 20 years, there was always a St Patrick's Day cabaret which was the hightlight of the social calendar for us.
