Thank God it's Friday!

Working an 8-5 job, six days a week, and sometimes extending hours to finish urgent tasks can be a little tiring. But still thank God it's Friday! Friday excites me because it means my day off is almost here. How about you? What's the reason behind your "Thank God it's Friday"?

That’s a lot of time working, especially six days a week. I’m a retired teacher, so I worked during the week and had my weekends free. Friday has always been my favorite day of the week since I was a child. It’s been Friday date night with my husband since we first met.

Wow! I'm jealous. Hehe Glad to know you have a happy married life. Honestly! I like the idea of retirement. I know I have a long way to go but couldn't wait for the day that I have a lot of time on my own to decide without being told by a boss what to do.

@Jehanne God is good every day. It's just that when I didn't have a job, Friday was just another day. Now that I'm working, I have a reason to be happy that I can do things at my own pace every day.

First of all, welcome to Mylot! I hope you enjoy your time here, and that you will keep coming back. I remember in school I absolutely loved Fridays. But if I worked six days a week like you , I’d be pretty overjoyed by Fridays too.

Thank you! for the warm welcome. Honestly! it truly amazes me when saw a user profile that has been here for 20yrs,11yrs and so on. Wow! Hahaha yes! back in school days Friday is absolutely excited to go out after class.

TGIF! Yay! it's when I couldn't wait to exit from work. Absolutely! The reason behind that because home is where I finally able to breathe and forgot how tiring my day was.
