I am at a place 50 km to the north of Kolkata. It is less hot in summer and more cold in winter than the metropolis. You can guess the reasons. I feel I am lucky on that count. However, the summer heat will rise to about 45 degree. We must brace to face those awful days which are not far. Yet, I must say it with smile that the summer days are not really unbearable here. I repeat to myself and the children I care of in the foster care home that our planet is the only one supporting life , among all the planets and satellites of our solar system. We must be thankful for it and take care of it. As we live on this little planet , don't we need to take care of it?
