I'm Serving as a Judge for a Competition

United States

I volunteer every year for the national group Community Association Institute to judge one section of their contest. They have multiple Chapters in each state (hundreds of chapters) and these Chapters compete in various categories such as Membership Engagement, Leadership, and more. I am judging the category of Public Affairs which looks at programs each Chapter initiated for advocacy, public relations, community outreach, and community service projects. I have 10 submissions to judge. It takes about 30-45 minutes to review each submission. I enjoy doing it. I have already scored 6 of the submissions and I have 4 more to do by March 24th, so there's plenty of time. Image is NOT me; just a generic stock photo of a "judge"

I think I remember you telling us about this last year. I think it was around the time I related I was about to judge a competition myself for $150 ($75 for 2 hours over 2 nights). I don’t like judging people’s work, but for $150 I’ll get over my hesitance. I know you must be an excellent judge!
